What other celebration could it be, for what is rightfully labelled the most fashionable day of the year on Australia’s social calendar? That’s right, Derby Day! The day ladies can wear and look as glamorous, elegant and classy as they like. Derby Day is definitely a Melbournian favourite, I mean what’s not to love, a whole day devoted to a monochrome dress code. Now that’s what I’m talking about! If you were to see my wardrobe black and white are my go to colours so it doesn’t get any better than Derby Day if you ask me. This was my first time attending the races in the very chic Birdcage. It was amazing to see just how fresh, crisp, and elegant everyone looked in celebration of the most elegant and classy day of Spring carnival. I just couldn’t get enough of all the fashion right in front of my eyes. Not only was...

As we drive past in the nighttime we see a double story lit up restaurant, the lights lit although dim, and the room takes on a multicoloured hue accentuating the fun and laid-back vibes. The treasured restaurant we visited is located in Hawthorn East and is called "St Cloud". One of the best Vietnamese eating-houses in Melbourne! As we walk and get closer to enter the building the sound of the music becomes louder and more enchanting. Just one step into this gorgeous restaurant, my head turns to look back at Michael, my eyebrows have raised as if to say.. "we are in for a good night"! With the most welcoming and sweetest staff, we were then seated directly opposite the chief’s kitchen where you could watch the magic being made! We had the great pleasure of a gentleman serving us for the night who advised us on the amazing banquette we would...
